When this customer were doing up their downstairs toilet, I was asked to make three wall shelves plus a smaller shelf where the spare loo roll sits as the finishing touches to the renovation.
The shelves are relatively easy to make as they are essentially asking me to please plane up three planks of oak and cut to size, but of course it’s never quite that simple as they wanted them French Polished to perfection.
Fortunately they had already sourced an oak toilet seat and matching mirror and they had all the accessories to make this possibly the nicest cloakroom ever to take a pee!
Have to say I really like the industrial style fittings they chose, which set off the shelves beautifully, and match the towel rail to the side.
