I hate wasting offcuts and so a couple of trinket boxes solved the issue of an oak, sapele and plywood mix of scraps. I love the way that cheap plywood can be combined with hardwoods to create an interesting stripe effect.
The first is a square design with hinged lid and flocked internal finish.
