When you have a yard full of horses, they’ll know which stall is theirs but visitors may not, so why not commission some deep cut and painted signs?
Of course if you don’t need stable signs, we can just as easily cut house names, directions, or pretty much any text you like.
These are oak so will be extremely long lasting and when they do age and fade, can easily be brought back to life with a fresh lick of paint to highlight the names. As they are deep cut, even if you choose to let the paint fade the names will remain, if not forever, at least for decades.
