What do you commission for someone that’s mad about guitars? A guitar shaped clock of course!
Cut from a single plank of oak, this clock is about 14″ high, so not stupidly big but still large enough to stand out on the wall.
Finished with a french polished high gloss and waxed, the gold hands pair nicely with the yellow/brown tones of the wood. The dial is laser engraved so that’ll never rub off and on the rear is a routed square for the clock mechanism to sit in and a routed keyhole to enable easy hanging from a simple screw in the wall.
All that’s needed in way of maintenance is the occasional dusting, even more occasional lick of wax, and a replacement battery once every couple of years or so.
