Brides are notoriously invested in every single detail of their wedding planning (rightly so!) and this bride had decided on rustic cup cakes topped with a wedding cake and wanted a beautiful way to display them.
Using four slabs with the bark still attached, this was constructed with double ended screws and oak spacers. For additional stability, an oak ‘saucer’ was turned to support each slab as it’s designed so that everything unscrews for storage.
I have to admit, even I was stunned when I saw it with the cakes in place… and so was the baker – they loved the stand so much that when they saw the wedding photos they insisted on buying one so that they have an amazing cake stand for future photo shoots and rental!
