When someone is leaving home and getting their first studio flat, they pretty much need everything, so I agreed to make a mini chopping board for a moving in gift.
Chopping boards can be made to pretty much any size requested, but studio flats generally have limited storage space so this one is smaller than usual.
Small doesn’t have to mean plain though, so this got the full pattern treatment with contrasting oak and sapele…. perfect for chopping a few vegetables, or for use as a cheese board.
